Sickle Cell Awareness and Community Outreach
Who the programme supports: Young people aged 15–35
Many young people lack access to the practical exposure needed to succeed, alongside health disparities in rural areas. Collaborating with partners like G2win and the Pearl Sickle Cell Foundation, this initiative involved on-the-ground testing, education, and support (a late-year activity shown), raising awareness, reducing stigma, and enabling early interventions for sickle cell disease, empowering youth to lead healthier lives and contribute to community well-being.


Outreach
Pad an Inmate: Donation of Sanitary Pads to Women in Prison
Many young people and marginalized groups face basic hygiene barriers. This 2021 drive at Oke Kura Prison, Ilorin (May 22), collected and distributed sanitary pads through individual/corporate donations, promoting dignity, menstrual health equity, and social inclusion, inspiring youth volunteers to address gender-specific needs in vulnerable populations.

Many young people lack access to skills training, mentorship, and practical exposure needed to succeed. These recurring Twitter Spaces, June 2022 with Chidi Nwaogwu on inspiration; October 2022 on Nigeria's independence impact; November 2022 on intentional networking featured motivational discussions, networking, and youth stories, building inspiration, connections, and civic awareness to drive personal growth and national progress.

Reproductive Health in Women Seminar
Many young people lack access to the skills training, mentorship, and practical exposure they need to succeed, including vital reproductive health knowledge. This May 20, 2021, virtual session (8 PM) with expert Aanuololuwa Enitan Adekoya covered female anatomy and wellness, empowering participants with education to make informed decisions, prevent issues, and advocate for health rights, advancing gender equity and personal development.
